ripon has a race called the "revo" race. usualy end of aug. I think. Its for a fellow racer who pasted away years back.  He loved the mini class so we run it in honor of him. Last year there was a few mini cars. Mini is fun. I love the class. As long as John is not running it I have a chance to win it .

Soon as I get my sedan running I will bring out my mini and run 2 classes. I will bring some tires and spars with me if you need anything. I have tons of parts and motors. If you need help LMK.

wow. its been almost a year since I raced last.

I raced my mini for the first time today at Norcal. Had a little bit of trouble stickin to the track as the track heated up. I'm hooked! Hope to have a better showing the next time around....thanks for the tip.

Everything:

Tamiya M03 S/M/L

I would like to see this Class Grow again, NorCal will have some of the fastest Mini racers around in no time. So to get everyone up to Speed on setup help with the Mini Cooper class. Here is a setup that will get you moving into the right direction:

Front

40wt oil(it comes in your kit tamiya yellow oil), 2 hole piston,3 o-rings for droop, Blue springs, 5mm ride height, 1deg toe out, rear hole on front knuckles, A-slicks, Hard foam inserts.

Rear

40wt oil, 2 hole piston,3 o-rings for droop, Red springs, 6mm ride height, 2deg rear blocks, A-slicks, Soft foam inserts.

*use 1 hole pistons for plastic CVA shocks, Ball diff and Gear diffs run tight by adding washers. Get all of your electronics as low as possible, stuffed into the rear end.
