Lex nice win in 13.5. gave them "SUM"!LOL..
John great run finishing third bring that losi to the house right on Bro!
Yes I am a real racer, that was my first race in a very, very long time.
It was just a simple question because I am obviously not familiar with how things are run at Norcal races. Maybe I worded it wrong to get people on the defensive. Racenut, If I see you at Norcal with your Slash I will introduce myself in person, as I said, I have nothing to hide and was just curios why it was allowed.
I actually like the full race with 16 Slashes on the track at the same time. It definitely made the race more interesting and the crowd obviously liked it as we heard several ooos and awws during the race.
Why put a barrier there? It is actually a very fun line to take in practice. I don't understand why you would need to force someone with the barrier to not take that line in a race.
Also, if the Slash class is supposedly just for fun, why have the strict no bumping rules like the other classes have? That is the best part of racing a Slash with other Slashes, is the ability to rub paint without causing damage. I'm not suggesting anyone use the PIT maneuver on anyone else, but allowing more contact would be exciting.

Problem solved. Pipe will be put up on the berm to prevent the fun shortcut jump in qualifying and the mains. Ill leave it open in practice so people can catch up with each other while practicing.
I saw that the Monster truck didnt win anyway. He was laughing im sure more than he was trying to win. Now if he would have broken someone doing that shortcut that another story. Still for the mains and Qualiying we will put up the pipe on the Berm. Problem Solved. Lets keep slash fun and inviting.
Slash is alot of fun and sometimes it gets to fun
ON another note I hear the track held up well and was fun. Glad to hear it. See you all next race.

Slash class is for fun, well this is all in fun. The Slash class is the lets screw around and play class. If you want competition then step up to the 4wd class.
John could beat most of us on his worst day if he wanted to. I would not let it get you down, jujst go race and have fun.
Have you ever seen a drunk M&M?????

Is this a real racer? or someone screwing around to stir things up?
HEY...I didn't crash it was uhmm a GLITCH yea that was it...
Clearance Sale: NIB KO Propo VFS-1 C2 ESC. Plenty In stock. See me at the track for more information.
I asked twice during the race what happened but no one answered. I guess no one is supposed to question what the local "pros" do. No need to get all Internet tough guy on me, I'm not hiding behind anything. I created an account to ask the question, I guess because I didn't post my full address and phone # for bots to take in my profile that means I am hiding.
Thanks for the honest answer, I don't quite understand it, but I won't ask because I don't want you to think I am threatening you.

For the record, I was I was running the Slash main when the track was cut by OUR race director John Hicks.....even the race director can follow the rules...geez...and you thought I was bad.
That was complete madness. Try calling traffic for 15 cars.....alerting mashalls to crashed cars they can't see. Also, the time left on the screen wasn't visable because too many cars were in the race....and you had people cutting the track all at the same time. Crazyness.

Back Like 45.... for 55 in the garden
No more dirty flicks from now on. I learned my lesson. Get your mind out of the gutter!
How to Eat A Wadamelon (credit Mel.....yet again)
That was me who cut the track. At that point my laps were not counting because the computer is set for minimum lap times. The race announcer was barely able to keep up with all that was going on.Was not his fault at all.If you have a problem with me,then please take it up with me.Since I don't know who you are because your hiding behind a screen name, then I guess its a moot point.Otherwise you can email me at [email protected]
BTW guys we will not be running stacked mains in Slash anymore. We will do the bump up thing and allow 2 guys to bump from lower mains from now on.It was more of an experiement and although is was funny,it was too much going on for the race announcer let alone marshals to handle.
So was I the only one who saw the "Monster" Slash jump the burm after the tripple and cut off some of the track twice in the A-main Slash race?
It's pretty disappointing that whoever was running the races would let that slide, even if it was only the Slash class.
