Did anyone happen to pick up Jacob's grey Hurley sweatshirt? We were pitted right next to the Coke machine. It was sitting on his chair most of the day. We got home and realized that it was got but the track was already closed. We called On Sunday and Shawn said it wasn't there.

Thanks,

Chris

Yeah it just seems like the open cell foam is better if it's bumpy and loose....and you are running softer compound tires. This goes hand in hand. I would say it goes from:

1. Open Cell - (bumpy and softer tires 2. 2 Stage - Blue groove and slightly pumpy 3. Closed Cell - Blue groove and/or smooth.

Most people are running just closed cell everywhere. For me it's alot harder to drive on all tracks. I have found myself going back to 2 stage alot more....even indoors.

ATTENTION: Just got word from CalTrans that both lanes will be CLOSED on Union City Blvd from Smith Street to Whipple street due to construction friday, saturday, and sunday. According to the CalTrans Rep that we spoke too, tell the flag person at the stop sign that you will be going to NorCal Hobbies and they will let you through. Sorry for the inconvience.

Kinda... It's nice to have it a little rounder, but it's mainly for the softness. Lets the tire shape better to the little bumps in the surface, and bounces less on harder landings.

I've been running the jc open cell inserts lately. Full rear, 3/4 of rear in front. A softer closed cell rear like proline or JC will work too.

A good, all around tire I've been running are 3ds in green and green front barcodes. If it's a warmer day and the byte is decent, you can switch to a little harder compound like blue and run more of a bar treaded tire like barcodes. With how the track has been lately, I'd stick with softer compounds. Really pay attention to the daily track maintenance as well.

That generally depends on wet vs dry. Dry is likely (super)soft barcodes/suburbs or other bar type tires as a blue groove gets going. Wet is probably something like a holeshot. Not sure what to suggest if it stays dusty and doesn't yet have any kind of groove.

Note: I haven't put my 10th scale buggy out yet, but that's what I'm expecting to need to use. In SC I'm either running gridirons if wet or a bar type tire if dry. Hopefully one of the faster mod buggy guys will chime in about the 2w buggy in the various conditions.
