Dave get electrical tape and sandwich the top and bottom of the bumper. It sounds hokie but it's effective. Never lost another brace since and it prevents your bumper from bowing and pulling out from the bottom two screws. Ask your buddy R. Williams, I think he has done something similar. Hope this helps. Can you put some carne asada on my nachos please!

The schedule has been updated to better reflect what tracks we will be running on. Click on link for each day and it will better describe what tracks. As for now 1/10th indoor and 1/8th is outdoor.

@bogey Nope, I just get really into and really passionate about my hobbies (my computer hobby turned into a career as an example)...so even being new I went and spent time helping make the new indoor track. It was fun and I learned a bunch via trial and error with the wall ride construction too. Wish I'd been able to help out more with the dirt forming portion though, as eventually I plan to move to a place that has a decent sized yard...and make a proper RC track in it (I had made a fun small one back when I was a kid, and had a blast with all my friends on it, but always had to rebuild the jumps, and at the time we didn't care about a landing...very bash style...and drove through/under tree roots and such too).

Showing my age, it was the heyday of the almost hoby grade toy RC's like the Radio Shack Golden Arrow and the various Tyco cars just coming out that started making 9.6v packs popular in toy grade over the 7.2v packs. I've told the story in person, but we used to do things like put wood screws in the rear tires and sharpen some aluminum in wood blocks for front skates. Then we'd go race our cars against the snow mobiles on the frozen pond. (I'm from new england) We once put sharpened aluminum front wings on our buggies and spent a few hours bashing around to cut a small patch of grass too...just because we could. LOL

Kevin or other Norcal junkies - in regards to the schedule, is it assumed that if it doesn't say indoor off-road then we run on the outdoor track for the 1/0th scale program? You have listings such as...

04/01 Sun Offroad Racing 1/8th and 1/10th both Tracks Racing 10:30am

and

04/04 Wed Offroad Night Racing 1/10th Indoor Offroad Racing 7pm start

Oh, I'd forgotten all about high speed bowl/high bank turns (especially wide ones that end into a straight, or come immediately after a straight). Those are lots of fun too, but often hard to do indoors without a high driver stand and a bunch of space.

I can say for certain that the track is being updated based on various feedback, and is a primary reason the mains were run without the wall ride. The NorCal crew really care about the community of racers, which is a wonderful thing to see and experience.

I hope somebody grabs some video on Wed night that I can take a look at to see some of what I might expect coming in on the weekend to race.

IMO  make the track as user friendly as possible. We have tons of new drivers and seeing a regular track is challenging enough.

The problem with crossovers is when someone gets it wrong. And that happens nearly 1 time or more per race. It's almost like stopping on the straight.

Kozo named me, You raised me. Charles Barkley, Simon Cowell, Bobby Heenan, and Jesse "The Body" Ventura. All Legends in the game. Vader is dead. Embrace The Hate.

I hate slicks and WALL RIDES and loopty loops and walls of fire and over/unders and car breaker jumps and more stuff I will come up with later ....THE MOVEMENT. Join now to fight this terrible atrocity. Let's put tread BACK on the tire. Put jumps, elevation changes, and bumps back on the track.

Yeah crossover's are the same as over/under.They can be helpful to utilize space but cause alot of issues. Big bowl turns can be fun if they are done correctly.Track looks awesome. Can't wait to run it. Thanks justpoet for taking video the 2 wheel sc and stadium truck races were fun to watch!
