When is the last time an international racer frickin' showed up for a club race???  Really???  That's why our hobby suffers locally.  Everyone always against one another.  We didn't have this crap back in the mid to late 90's. There wasn't too much bashing on the net and Trinity's tech talk was still up....  I liked it better when people just paid their entry fee's and raced.  Man I sound like OD or Ashby......I sure do miss the old days. Steppin' yo game up on a northern Cali site would be getting turnouts locally first then going after the big picture.  Geezz....can't believe I even wasted time out of my life responding to a post such as this.  T.O. pass the popcorn!!!!!

I'M RUNNING NOTHING BUT MOD CAUSE ALL MOTORS ARE LEGAL.........SAY DAT!!!!!

REMEMBER THE GOOD OLE DAYS...........THEY'RE NEVER COMING BACK SO WE'RE STUCK WITH THE MESS IN FRONT OF US!!!!

I just said what alot people are thinking. Norcal in past year has had a few large events in which the worlds top drivers, mechanics, and you can even throw in designers have attended. All of which represent a myriad of manufacturers. You even have drivers that can and have performed well on the national and international stage. Which brings me to my point. Why them? When you have all this other talent that you could have pulled from. If you want the people that you interviewed to get noticed, why did you put them on this website where everbody knows who they area and there abilities. This site caters mostly to Northen California it is not like Redrc or Neobuggy which have an international following. Are you not the promotions director at Norcal? If so then think bigger. As far as my intentions are concerned i just want you to step up your game. Norcal has been under the current ownership for almost 3 years. Yet they barely get any coverage on the larger more international websites. As the promotions director that is something that needs to be addressed. You and your fanboys can take this message as me attacking you or as challange. The decision is all yours.

Yeah. Team Hateraid was the " Elitest " of all HATE !! If you didn't have a " HT8" motor in your car, then you were just below average to us heheh. Good times, good memories.

Wow, kind of a D*** thing to say about a guy it doesn't sound like you know, when you're clearly but indirectly trying to diss another guy...  Classy!  I enjoyed reading the interviews and like all the promo work.

how could you hate on Stark for writing an interview about someone. Sorry it wasn't someone you look up to or already have heard of. Hateraid is a flowing all over right now. (this was not a reference to Biner, sorry Biner) dam Stark, sorry you get S*** for being a nice guy..... That was a nice write up on all the drivers mentioned. Pro's or not, id feel pretty dam cool if someone took the ti)me to notice that I took this hobby seriously and was applying myself. How often do you see hara at norcal? How often do you see Castro and Gonzalo?

This is rcracing.com right? Nor cal racing? I thought like oople, red rc, prcinsider..... websites like that took care of all the guys we already know about? IE hara, tebo, mayfield, KOZO lol!

Props to helping good drivers get their names spread, pros or not. Everyone you have written up about has skills!

who would have thought 1 sexy picture laying on the grass by your TC would have caused all this hate! Ganzolo you look pretty and Jesse you made him look pretty =)

Kozo

PS please feel free to go off on my post, I enjoy reading it, it makes me smile

John, you came on here and defended a Gary O post of all things. Dude, c'mon. I know he's you're friend but we all know his intentions and it's usually never good. His take on why I don't interview Hara or somebody in the industry that matters is silly. You and Gary can take whatever I say in whatever light you guys want that's fine. I have no ill will towards you either, we have too much good history between us.

This has turned into the most awesome thread ever.

Jesse, I have no ill will toward you here. Just a simple observation. If I am seeing things in the wrong light, I apologize. My opening words were not intended to isolate you. But I can see why you might feel that way. Carry on sir.

Joe. Try being original for once in your life. PLEASE?

I love Norcal Hobbies!

Yeah, wouldn't want to promote the local racing scene at all.

Well, there is some good that will come of this.  There's a new challenger for most worthless post of 2011.

Wow. So much wrong in so many words. My head hurts.

Hi Fraz! You ready to bring those planes over the hill? Agreed the Sagisis, Castros, etc are great examples for the hobby, but saying you don't interview any "bucks" is a bit elitist sounding. Maybe those words have a different connotation but perception is reality for most. And some may consider Gonzalo a buck and not a good interview as GaryO is clearly implying. Perception again is reality. I have no opinion........Yeah right!!! But I digress.

GaryO- Don't call it a comeback, you've been here for years~

Sorry that the few interviews I have done so far have not been National or World champions. However, I don't interview any bucks. The 3 that have been done (Sagisi, Castro, Cortez) are all legitimate up and coming fast drivers. And 1 thing that all 3 of them have in common is that they are all hard workers. They are dedicated to the hobby and to their racing which tells me they will all have a bright future so these are guys that I respect and want to promote. You said "Gonzalo who??" Well read the interview then come out to the track and watch him drive and you'll find out who he is. As far as "local heroes" Albano and Jelich yea I'll interview those guys at some point I'm sure.
