Hello all, I am new posting here and a newb to rc racing.

My son and I have a pair of new to us HPI rs4 3's that are pretty much stock. I was wondering if next Sunday's race would be good for us/ the cars we have to try and race in. It would be a bi of a drive for us so any advice would be helpfully.

Thanks Steve

Ej and Bissata were in the track this evening, and the grip is getting improving the more that cars run on it.

Tomorrow we'll start the winter with out traditional classes.  Tomorrow, I'll talk to all of you about setting more in stone our classes for the season.   Some of the issues are of ramping the 17.5 classes, and even of regulating some mod classes.  But tomorrow we'll have

1/12th 17.5 NR and Modified.

WGT 13.5 Ramping

Touring Car 17.5 NR and Modified

Formula 1 with F1 Rims/tires, Citrix 17.5 or silvercan

Mini Citrix and 17.5

I put my WGT car on the carpet track about 5 times this afternoon.  Gonna take a few cars getting on the track tomorrow to get the traction up.

Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour tonight...for some extra sleep!

60-70% chance of rain tonight so it looks like we're going indoors.

I would like to know what classes are running on the carpet and what classes are running out door. I'd like to run 12th scale in door on the carpet and 17.5 NR outside.

Track was fairly clean tonight.  Last year's green carpet infields are still in place and look very good.  We got most of the outer border track barriers laid.

Amazing how good the carpet looks after having been covered for 6 months.  Eric V did a great job of protecting it during our asphalt hiatus.

Thank you Bill Deras and Josh Bister for your help.   The carpet track is uncovered but could use allot of vacuuming, the more the merrier.   Sneak the vacuum out of the house tonight and drop by nor-cal for an hour :-)

As of this evening...The tables and chairs are cleared off of the carpeted area, electrical drops are suspended high out of the way, tape removed from the top protective layer of carpet and debris is cleared.  A good day!

If coming to help on Thursday, please try to bring a shop vac or vacuum cleaner.

I'll keep the back door unlocked for those that want to help out with the carpet track. I'll be working behind the scenes ( having breakfast, calling vendors, and inventory ).
