It was magic elves that advanced the timing 40 degrees. better to be called out during an obvious infraction than be tech'd and excluded from the race. Tim turned your motor back to stock spec and you could have competed in the main, it was you who chose not to. Oh and it's clear you know how to illegally make these motors fast.

I'd love that John. I would have loved it if it had been done yesterday rather than just be removed from the heat in the middle of my heat. I've heard of being teched after winning a heat but never accused, prosecuted and removed heat within 2mins of that heat.

FYI: I do know how to illegally make these motors fast. I also know how to crack a bank's safe and start %95 of the cars on the market without a key. I supposed I should be doing 20 to life?????????

Why don't we just stick the motor on a Dyno against a couple other Cirtix 17.5's and see the variance? I know at least 4 we can compare it against. Just a thought. Also we can tear it down and compare against the stock cirtix. I can have it arranged. LMK.

Yes Peppy, I definitely need to take setup advice from a guy who's car spins donuts every other turn.

As for the rest of you who accused me of cheating last weekend, I welcome you to take my motor and make your Sabre run as fast as my Tamiya, driving skills excluded since I can't drive. Or perhaps you could try gearing your car at 3.1 FDR, oh wait.......you can't, sorry

Steve, Someone is selling their Sabre in the classified section.  He is asking 350 plus has the 17.5 Cirtix combo included.  Also Jay Sharp is selling a awsome looking Hudy 1/8 scale roller bag.  I dont have the money but just throwing it out there for somone!  I also think the front wheel drive cars are cool.  I thought Hungs FF03 car actually looked faster but needs to be dialed a little better.  Should get interseting.

Steve, or check out the Sakura FF from HKS. I still preferred to have the motor in the front. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.142245329158280.20687.138119022904244

There is a FF11 upgrade kit coming out for FF03. http://www.roche.hk/

Agreed. Very touring like into the corner and mini off.Its a nice compromise. The cars performance is excellent. Very nice SPEC style racing for sure whether on Parking Lot or Norcal's permanent track.
Really?

Jake-if you drove a Sabre you would forget about any comparisons to a Tamiya mini (I assume that's the one you are refering to).  The Sabres are the ones making all the noise because they have an open gearbox with large pitch gears just like a mini.  The FF03s are pretty quiet (I think, since you sure can't hear them over the Sabre racket lol)  Anyway, the Sabre handles like a really good touring car and is super fun to drive.  If everyone new how much of a gas they are the class would grow really fast.  If you want to check one out come hack a lap with mine

the new fwd cars looked just like a minis handles and sound just as loud.

is the noise from the gear box? since these are basicaly fwd t.c. is their any way to make them not look like they drive like a mini? would it make any difference if they were rear whell drive say a 2 wheel t.c.? lets say i want to convert a old t.c.!

This is Jay using O.D.'s computer

Steve is right no one gives a $hit what he thinks. Carino's FF-03 held it's own just fine in the main the FF-03 has a bunch more speed to be found. The Sabre's are being developed on a steeper curve because of a team effort. Everyone has a choice of what to run, look how many T3 2011's were in the pits at the Reedy this year. We are having alot of fun in this class and I encourage anyone to come out and try it. We will not let cheating get out of had and ruin the class like it did with 2WD mini.
