Hey Eric, as an offroad guy, pitting outside is not an issue for me. Do you have plans to move the white (drivers stand mobile track) trailer so there will be more room to pit?

Not on this message board.   You'll have to stop by.   I really don't want pics up till it's right - presentable.

Maybe I'll take a snap of the progress tomorrow for our facebook page

Thanks Eric. Not trying to stir any pots, just want to understand the expectations. The only time i was out during onroad racing, I think it was my second visit, I was asked to stop on the 1/8th track, but I'm guessing it was not because I was on the 1/8th track, but rather due to running nitro.

As you mentioned, I'm all E now, so it doesn't sound like an issue for me And I'm looking forward to my summer of Sunday practice.

The be-clean, common-sense courtesy stuff is easy and goes without saying.

And Rich, just try to keep the place clean. I know it's not you, (electric dude) but be mindful when running Nitro when electric is racing on-road. And visa versa. On-road days cater to the on-road guys, off-road days cater to the off-road guys. Clean up your pit when you leave, sweep under the table. The on-road guys aren't into the dust and dirt inside or out. Staying off the ashpalt track at all times goes without saying - dirt and dust means less traction. Pitting outside would be helpful.

Getting along goes both ways.

There's a little issue of the mating on-road and SC sweepers that is known and will be addressed. (didn't just spend 10 hours cleaning the asphalt for nothing). It's going to be tight, but there'll be a walkway.

Yes, we are racing asphalt sunday on the new track layout.

That being said, it's not going to be the complete look/feel to the way it will be run for the reedy. The infield color will not be laid, nor will the berms/curbs be in place. It's going to be a matter of weeks to get it the way we want it. A little testing is in order to make sure it's just right before we lock this layout down.

Yes, please establish some rules so the onroad guys don't get dusted out on onroad day.

To get the most entries and try to keep the 1/12 class alive can we please all run 13.5 Ramped? I know it's a step down for the mod guys but we should have enough for 2 mains if everyone agrees.

Scotty, I am thinking about going racing on Sun. Do you want to carpool? I have room, and it would help to have someone split the costs of the gasoline.

Woo Hoo,  Ready for some asphalt!!!

Kevin,  Was thinking of coming up Saturday for Practice,  I know its an offroad race day so was wondering if the track would be ready and I assume best to bring a table as would most likely need to pit outside??

 Thanks,
