Just a heads up.The Schedule states tomorrow is Carpet racing so this is a reminder for those racing that there will indeed be carpet racing tomorrow. The schedules also mentions Offroad, but it looks like rain will push offroad off until Sunday.
Really?

As Kevin said we have a great design, I'm sure you'll all dig it. Of course input is terrific, we appreciate it, we use it. And Bill's right, we've been around the block (apex). It's always going to be over the top. This is a road track, no jumps.

You'll just have to wait and see.

Another great race day at NorCal, 3 rounds of qualifying a main and time to test after the mains! Great job to the race director and his crew. You guys are missing some great races.

Eric ment Kerbs. Great input though. We have a very good design going in and all your input will be considered.

Hey Steve...

"...I know for a fact that my lap times dropped when I hit those orange dots with my 1/12th car."

I _think_ you mean the other direction LMAO

Truly, I trust Eric and Kevin to get it right with the curbing.  They got history and experience!

Revelation launch pads were individual sheets of metal and lots of fun to race around! They also had exits in their penalty box's. Wish they still had that track.

You are exactly correct, Steve. They need to be curbs not launch pads!! The Tamyia track is like racing in a rain gutter. The orange dots create enough havoc for both touring cars and pan cars. Last Sunday I saw many touring cars roll over when they hit those orange dots and I know for a fact that my lap times dropped when I hit those orange dots with my 1/12th car. Can you cut the course with those orange dots? Yes! But you can also cut the track with berms or launch pads. It is still the responsibility of the race director and for that matter, the other racers to call a track cut. It will also show in the lap time. We do not have to use the orange dots on the asphalt track but the curbing should not be any higher! Race off road if you want launching pads!!!!!

It would be nice if the 1/2 pit-table per driver rule was respected too.

It would be nice if the new asphalt track be respected not allowing it to be a shortcut or pit space.

should be the best track in the US  ..  curbs can be an inch high  thats all thats needed..  referees for track cutting   and penalties need to be handd out nright away  that sets the tome for cutting.

if no penalties then ppl will cut.
