Hi Domgarza...Thanks so very much for your input. Yes I have been racing my mini-z racer and my mini-z F-1 at Fast Pace Racinf in San Jose for a while now. I would really like to get into 1/10 scale F-1 elec. class. I haven't bought my car yet, still in the research phase of it. I really like the Tayima F104 Pro ad well as the RC10R5 for a oval course elec. car. just trying to fin out which car and class I will like better. I'm going to try and make it out to NorCal this weekend for the races and to get more info on everything. good to know that you can race and practice there. I will find and talk to Fernando and the F-1 specs and requirements. Thanks so very much for your time and impute. THANKS

Ryan… yes Norcal do allow practice and racing for F1, I and few other friends do race MiniZ as well in San Jose or Cupertino and all of us are getting F1 also.  Since you’ve been driving MiniZ I think you will adapt the big track easily.  In fact Norcal is having a big race this Sunday for F1 with 21.5T motor non ramping esc, 1/12 scale 17.5T motor and Gas with foam tires only, you should come out and join us, you still have plenty of days to practice so come down the track and ask anyone there…everyone is helpful! We need to see what you already have that's if you already have your F1 so we can tell you the specs requirements if not we also have our F1 Guru’s Fernando… very helpful guy! I’m sure he will give you some good pointer for your next F1 car. – good luck

Hey Badboy. This is Ryan JP Julian's uncle. I sit next to you all the time at FPR Racing. I'm the guy you were talking with last week and I told you that I use to be in Law Enforcement for 8 yrs. I believe you one your own real life F-1 Car and team. I would really like to get into the 1/10 scale F-1 class of racing or the oval track. Talked to Eric at FPR a few times and he told me to just go out to NorCal to check it out. I really like the Tayima F104 Pro or the Team Associated RC10R5 oval course touring car. Really pike the idea though of the F-1. I've been racing my mini-z F-1 and love it. Want to go up to 10th scale F-1 now. I don't know anything about NorCal other than what Eric has told me. you being the F-1 EXPERT can maybe guide me in the right direction? Any advice you can offer Badboy would be a great help! Thanks again Badboy

Hey Guys of NorCal Speedway. I've been racing Mini-Z Racers for a few months months now here in San Jose. I was thinking of moving up to 1/10 scale F-1 class and was hoping you guys could help me out. I wanted to make sure that NorCal does allow F-1 racing and practice? I'm new to the 1/10 scale, but would really, really like to get into either F-1 racing with a Tayima F104 Pro or oval track racing with a Team Accociated RC10R5 sedan. Would really appreciate any feedback you guys might have on this. I don't know anything about Norcal racing other than what people have mentioned to me here in San Jose. Hope to hear back from you guys with your advice and knowledge. thanks again for your time.

Hi Brian,

All you should need is a battery charger and hopefully an extra battery. If you don't have an AC (plug in) charger, a 12v power supply will be needed. Tables and chairs and power are provided and there should be space as long as there is no racing going on. Since the carpet track is going up soon you might want to get in the habit of bringing a table and folding chair. NorCal Hobbies should have everything you need for tires and wheels.

Oh yeah and you will have to find out soon what breaks on that car and stock up. Usually having an extra couple a-arms and steering knuckles for any sedan is a GoodThing

Hi all,

I'm planning on coming out to the track for the first time on Friday just to practice. Can I get advice on what pit equipment is necessary for me to bring to the track? I'm not quite sure. I'll be running a TA05 with a li-po battery.

Thanks
