Lin, Also try a different left rear tire. I think your insert was bad. Otherwise everything looked ok except that washer you found.

Great racing yesterday. The track was fun to run on. With more 180s there are much more of a difference in lap times between 13.5 and Mod. Seeing Jelich, E.J., and Tyler V battle it out was awesome. I don't know if I can handle that kind of speed!

Another round of great racing in 13.5. Hastings took TQ, but KW hunted him down in the mains. I tried hunting KW down, but driving a tweaked car couldn't get it done. Leo hounded me the last couple of laps with those Solaris tires on. He's definitely got the car working with those tires. This weekend will be exciting.

Kevin J: Thx for trying to find the my tweak bug after the race. I took the car apart last night and found that there was a rouge washer that was 1.73mm under the left rear link while the right rear link had 1.5mm. I really hope that was the cause. Otherwise it's a winning car.

The new layout is really nice I like the flow of the track. I would really love to see wgt 1 cell go to 10.5 motors instead of 13.5. I had fun any ways.

Oh and ABR, your progressive radius idea was awesome. Your ideas really helped the track come out looking great.

Thanks to all that helped get the new layout done. Special tahnks to ABR, Codey, Eric, Jesse, Jason, Raffy, Bill and others. This wasnt easy to put together. I tell you though Jesse and Hicks brought it home with a few recommended track tweeks and we have a race ready layout which will yield some of the best side by side racing to date at Norcal. I tell you their is at least 5 places to pass and the dragons back is so much fun.

$315 is a bit much for me to spend cash wise right now.  If you took credit cards then maybe we could work out a deal.

I think the Cup Racer is out.  After looking at the pics of the chassis I doubt that I could stuff one of my Lipos into it. The leads on my packs are on the top face of the pack.  It doesn't look like it would fit very well if at all.

That being said every time I see the TCs running on the track at Nor-Cal it makes me itch to try my hand at them.  What do you guys recommend as a good TC?  I was looking at a used Losi JRXS Type R (I'm partial to Losi stuff for some reason) or maybe a brand new XRay T2R pro.  At the moment I don't have the funds for a brand new top of the line TC.  Also what class would I race in being a rookie to on road?  I currently have a 13.5 brushless set up, but I know that I'd be in way over my head in that class.

I have the itch to go buy a Cup Racer today. My LHS had a 510 in stock last time I was there.  I see the Silver can is a only motor for 4WD minis at the TOP Gun shoot out, is that pretty much the standard motor for racing them?

I've had my eye on getting a HPI Cup racer.  With all of this talk of a cleaned and repaired carpet track is anybody thinking of running a class for them?  Or is there one already?  Maybe run outdoor?
