And a few of us have agreed to bring our WGT/Outlaw GT pan cars on Saturday.

Today, Ronnie had the new single cell configuration with a 13.5 motor to show us.

Guys I'm not racing mod for TC on race day but I will be practicing with it.

I have one blown motor and one 6.5L with a rotor that exploded yesterday. I'm sending these back to Novak to exchange for a 6.5R and 5.5R. I'll trade in another motor for a 4.5R.

Francis, 4.5 with lipo is ideal. Just dont run for 10 minutes and overheat your stuff. Stop running at 7 minutes max. See you in mod sunday. I think Vik and Martin are running Mod as well.

I don't know how much the 17.5 are but I can confirm they had a bunch in stock yesterday, hope that helps. I'm gonna guess in the $70ish range. 17.5 DUOs are nice, there's also some newer Duo2's coming out late summer.

YYOYOYO so I'm down for sunday but I'm not sure I will have a 17.5 motor to use in time.  How much are the 17.5 duos going for @ the shop?

Thanks George, I had a 5.5 in mind as a starting point. Is there a specific brand that's is popular? I have a Novak 6.5L on my B44 but it was meant for off-road. I also have two defective Novak motors and a 10.5 that I will be sending back to Novak in to trade in for some new motors.

Hey Francis, I'd probably start with a 6.5 or 5.5, if you are running a 7.4v lipo. The pros are running 3.5-4.0 with 5 cell nimhs. 3.5 will be too much power to handle with a lipo.

Not that I'm going to race Mod anytime soon but what brushless motor is a popular choice among all the mod drivers? Do people run special order Duo's or Novak, LRP etc...

Thanks!
