I thought rcgt was supposed to be a low cost fun class.   why do we need a tekin rs speedo?

next it will be 40c batts and a spx plus ???

kind defaets the purpose  maybe I'm wrong or missed something.

I hope the new track will have pics soon.  sounds like it going to be a winner..

Hey Racenut use stock timing   the speed control is variable timing and will adjust throughout the range of the motor

Martin, you're not very good at 13.5.

Yeah, they have Sorex's and RP30s.

From what I hear - you want to gear at about 3.50-4.0 if you have a LRP TC spec or most other speedos.  If you have the high timing speedos like the LRP SPX or the Tekin RS with the timing boost cranked - you want to gear near 4.0-4.2 range.

John,  you may want to start a few teeth smaller with the SPX.  Aaron went down 3-4 teeth when he switched to the SPX,    But that is for running the higher punch profiles 6-8.Cool

It's a great speedo, and NO laptop required.Tongue out

I'm in for 13.5 and RCGT and F1. Go plastic fantastic! LOL

I was wondering that myself.  I can't remember what we were gearing at for 17.5, I wanna say 3.3-3.5.  All I know is that we need to use the spur size pinion gears.

Tekin RS/RS PRO=SUPER DIALED!  I'm sure the SPX is awesome too though.  how is the size on the SPX?  The tekin is the only ESC i've found that fits in the Academy GV2 except the speedpassion somethingorother.

BTW, I should mention that the Tekin has the quicktune deal that allows you to dial a lot of items without using the hotwire.  You do need the hotwire to rev the firmware though.

Since the asphalt track will be used again, are you guys going to continue on-road carpet every other Friday night?
