More people show up in a parking lot racing even when we have a nice paved

track at Norcal. So it's not a lack of people running touring cars. I just don't get it. I

guess it's all about "Dirt Digging" these days.

What gives???

"I have a question for the NorCal crew...since we have been getting sunny weather lately why are we not racing outdoor asphalt? Is it because it cold? If so we run off-road outdoors. I just hate to see the good weather go to waste"

Something I have been screaming for years. Its alot of the same people racing off road. So saying people won't race outside in February is weak arguement....especially with a slowing carpet interest. I think alot of people aren't really into carpet on the west coast.  We all know there are tires that work for on-road cold weather. Also, the weather is easier on speedos, etc. Why waste the track. Clean it, blow it off, spray it and and lets race on Sundays weather permiting. We have a heated pit area. Those are my thoughts.

Just give in and set your car up for carpet.  It's fun and tire wear isn't bad at all.  Use Jaco Blues all around.

Star Trek Convention? Ah man....you really are sniffing some Blue Angel Dust.

The Death Star was destroyed this week.  It is under construction in rebuild mode.

The All Blue Tang diet consists of Blue Cheese, Blue Cool Aid, Gordon Bleu Chicken, and Blue Jello. For your recreational fix, top that off with a Blue Hurricane and some Blue Sniff. Party like Satoshi Tonight!

I was burned in the eye with blue coolaid by ABR, Hellajoe, Jesse, and the rest of the Blue Tang Clan. Blue Tang Clan ain't nothin' to F**k with.

Are you kidding? Norcal is the place for sure. Last years event was better than a Star Trek convention.

The funny thing is that the Blue Tang Clan probably won't even participate.

Hey Ed,

Norcal Hobbies wasnt even considered again this year for TCS.It has the best venue for the series out of the stores that have run it in the past being there is onroad and offroad tracks, but so is life right?Hobbytown in Fremont will be hosting it this year, and sounds like with the help of RCCAR.Kathy,Hobbytown's manager will run a great event and I am sure it will be another year of fun for those who love all things Tamiya. As for the real reason Norcal never even got a call after it was promised to them last year, thats all speculation I suppose......Smile
