Eddie, almost anything will work. I'm trying orange barcodes this weekend but hotbodies beams, gridirons, and Enduros all work.

The older I get the faster I used to be.

Thanks Kevin!  I won't change anything on my setup either way.....I never do lol.  I need to learn setup but I just never have time to practice and by the time raceday comes around I always stick with my base setup.  Oh well....see you guys Saturday!

Jason, the track is usually open for practice by 3, but keep in mind that traction will be a lot higher once racing starts, so don't make a bunch of changes when you first get there. Traction gets better every round and is usually super high in the main.

The older I get the faster I used to be.

So looks like myself and Chris Russo are making the trip down this next Saturday.  What time does the track open for practice?  We really want to get a bunch of laps in before the race.

Jen and I had so much fun out there at the fair. Thanks Kraig and Chris for asking us to come. My sides are still hurting from all the laughing. This make shift track was for sure the hit of the fair. I think the most fun we all had was when we had our race with the Traxxas trucks that were in training mode. I finally beat Curtis Door!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! Hopper and Joe worked their asses off all weekend. You guys rock!

See you guys in a couple of weeks!

Thanks again for all your hard work!

Seabass, The word DENIED is from Steve Blair, Kevin Jelich, and a couple other old school on road racers that had a team called Team Denied. They where a very fast bunch of NorCal on road guys. They used a lot of rear stear in their 12 scale cars. The old days 20+ years. ToolBox is just that old and then some! Just a coincidence with the word Denied and Blair.

@ toolbox, I thought what Blair and door did was fun! I just didnt want to get beat by them so I'm talking a little trash. Either one of them would hand me my a** any day of the week on the track. As far as the word denied goes??? Sounded right at the time I know nothing lol. Thread was quiet. See everyone at the fair!

Racers! The tracks and old shop will be closed this weekend due the the Contra Costa County Fair Thursday thru Sunday. New shop @ 1400 west 10th st will be open normal hours.

We will have a huge booth setup with an offroad track @ the fair! We are renting 2wd slashes out for kids/whomever to run on the track all weekend. On Saturday we are even holding a special invite exhibition race with a few of our local racers showing what rc racing is all about! Should be a HUGE crowd and a lot of fun. If you have free time this weekend be sure to swing by the fair and say hello!

Old shop and tracks will be open Normal business hours starting Next Tuesday. Next oval race will be friday the 7th and offroad race will be Round 5 of our series on Saturday the 8th @5pm!

Hopper
