@ toolbox, I thought what Blair and door did was fun! I just didnt want to get beat by them so I'm talking a little trash. Either one of them would hand me my a** any day of the week on the track. As far as the word denied goes??? Sounded right at the time I know nothing lol. Thread was quiet. See everyone at the fair!

Racers! The tracks and old shop will be closed this weekend due the the Contra Costa County Fair Thursday thru Sunday. New shop @ 1400 west 10th st will be open normal hours.

We will have a huge booth setup with an offroad track @ the fair! We are renting 2wd slashes out for kids/whomever to run on the track all weekend. On Saturday we are even holding a special invite exhibition race with a few of our local racers showing what rc racing is all about! Should be a HUGE crowd and a lot of fun. If you have free time this weekend be sure to swing by the fair and say hello!

Old shop and tracks will be open Normal business hours starting Next Tuesday. Next oval race will be friday the 7th and offroad race will be Round 5 of our series on Saturday the 8th @5pm!

Seabass17,

what you mean DENIED!! ??
What you know about that?
Where you hear about that?

That is funny because big Blair wanted to be DENIED (license plate) but was DENIED maybe oh 6 times and had to settle for DENIED6.  That's how the story I made up goes.

Steve, Good points you bring up. I think if someone else drives the car its fine but that qualifier should not be counted. Also the only instance I can remember of a driver running in the next heat was 2 weeks ago (Saturday May 18th) Ken Johns had trouble with his 4wd buggy and I let him run in the 2nd heat. The race had not started yet and honestly I did not even see his car on the track. I only saw him looking at it on the stand and walking off the stand with it during warm up. It was the 1st round so the resort had not come into play yet. It was a non series race and I would do the same for anyone, including yourself. Now if it was a series race I would have thought twice about it. I can't speak about what has happened when I am not calling the races of course, these are just what I have seen personally. Thx for the heads up!

I wanted to bring something up within the series. On several occasions I witnessed other drivers running or driving cars or trucks instead of the driver that signed up. I ve also seen in at least one of my heats someone break in warm up only to show up in the next Race ofthesame class. Bulls@@@t. If someone breaks during their race, that's it too bad. You don't get to come back in another race after getting fixed.

I do get the playful part, but this is happening a lot. Maybe ill go pay mayfield to come drive my car under my name. Lets play fair guys.

Eric, thx for taking the time to take pics and video. It is appreciated! I forgot to mention all the shenanigans Saturday night. Blair and door teamed up and tried to wheel us in short course...DENIED!! Lol. Also a bunch cheerleaders waving towels and heckling. Pretty funny stuff.
