Im just sayin. We dont want to discourage the younger ones its hard enough to get them off the XBOX as it is.I also think the kid who won is way to good for the rookie class. I really want to see the race results and lap times for these guys.

I feel if a new driver wants to run two classes then he or she should be able to run pretty much any class they want. They might be comfortable in one class but not too skilled in another. So if they ran Rookie or Sportsman in their new class or the one that they are not so good in an then ran their other class in Expert or Sportsman then who cares? This is supposed to be about fun anyways. We all complain about people running through each other and not showing respect. So if some one wants to get more track time to get better in a lower class - then I say - let them! Maybe they will learn to drive better and quicker? Obviously there has to be some "common sense" used. Of course we always need help with this "common sense" from the Race Directors - lol. I am running expert buggy myself even though I am noooooo expert. There are certain people that just don't belong in a lower class. I am one of those people. I don't run extremely well in offroad but I have been doing this long enough that I should not be in a Sportsman class either. There are pros and cons to this issue. However, I say it again - THIS IS ABOUT FUN!

A ranking system tied to our ROAR number would be cool. But I doubt we will see that in our lifetime. Lets all be thankfull for what we have at Delta. As for hack driving ? Let me speak from experience I used to be a first class hack. I took sometime for me to realize that the race is not won on the first lap. My only suggestion is at the drivers meeting before the race a nice little talk about driver etiquette and courtesy to your fellow racers would be in order.

If it's non-sanctioned, of course they can keep track of their own results. I would like to see every race count towards a state, region and national ranking. This would also force people to move up from class to class when they are supposed to, not when it's convenient for somebody.

LOL! Good luck with that one. Why can't you expect the local race directors to keep track of their own non sanctioned club/series races?

This is where ROAR fails us. ROAR should keep track of driver results from ALL tracks and class them accordingly. We can't expect the track operators to do it.

Keep it fair I know who you are talking about. He runs pretty good in the buggy class I'm in. Others were asking the same thing.

@keep it fair... I wasn't there, so I'm assuming you are referring to the rookie class. If I'm right, the majority of tracks put kids and adults together because the kids can usually hold their own just fine. If the adult you are referring to is truly a rookie, some tracks will allow a rookie to race a second class. Personally, I disagree with that policy because if somebody feels confident enough about their racing skills to race in one non-rookie class, then I don't feel they belong in the rookie class at all. Just my opinion. I'm sure others will chime in and think differently.

Yes it was a blood bath. Lots of swearing and pissed off folks. I was thinking about running in this class but just a little worried about those guys who are out there just to tear things up. I'm going to try to run it in 2 weeks hopefully someone puts the smack down on these guys.

Not to offend anyone but 4x4sc amain intermediate class was the most disrespectful class I have ever seen! All you guys have no clue how to hold a line and to control power. People hack out the leaders and don't care at all. The class was a joke.. just saying.

I do have one question tho. Why was that older guy running with the kids? I think his name was Steve Grather or something. I was just wondering because even though he didnt win he was doing very well. I think he was running a 2wd truck and got second. The kid who won was very fast and in a 4x4 SCTE. How does the system work at Delta for moving up classes? Oh and that Steve guy was also running with the adults in a buggy class. Just does not seem fair for the little guys.
