Just having a form of tech inspection is great, prevent it from happening is the key. If Delta would put the word out that this is something that they will normally do on racedays, that's one huge step more than what any other track is doing. 17.5 popular and competitve these days, making sure all racers are following the rules is fantastic, I'm loving it.

I don't get it. If cheaters know there is going to be an annoucement anytime there is tech for their class, they will know they can cheat most of the time. Why would it kill the class? Getting rid of a few cheaters (if there are any there) by pissing them off can only help the class.

Do the esc's for 17.5 need to be on the roar Approved Non-Timing ESC list?

I'd rather people not cheat... or cut corners on the track and jump back in way ahead of where they were.  Oh well.

Pro tip: If you want to catch the cheaters, don't tell them you are teching ahead of time.
