You cannot run less than 91 octane with any ANY turbo car, you will run into major pinging and will run the pistions way too hot. Hell even 91 here in cali is absolute garbage. Ive been building and working on high performance vehicles for years.

I think its too cold for the Sac guys down here, your all too used to being indoors. Lol. I really enjoyed racing with the Lsr guys last time i was there but its their turn to come here now. Randy and Jen came down Sat and did pretty good for their first day around the track.

It was another great day of racing at Delta on Sat. There was 17 heats and most of them stacked. Traction was a little low due to wind blowing dust on the track but those kind of tracks you really learn how to dial in your car. Craig ran an awesome program and got us out of there at a decent time. Thanks again Craig and crew for another fun week and I will see you next week for round 3 of nitro.

It was good to see all the Antioch crew. Lots of help from everyone when Jen broke her body mount. Track layout is very is hard. It's a long day out there to run one class but it was alot of fun for both Jen and I.

I hope to be able to clear that triple the next time out - lol!

Thanks to all that helped!

the one thing that stood out from all the rest was the amount of intermidiate drivers we had yesterday 4 heats fo 4x4 sc , and 2 heats of 2wd sc....not to mention buggy class had a full heat too!   that is good to see, lot of future r/c racers getting started

dont forget the raffle .......WOW! a lucky boy and his proud father got hooked up yesterday from the delta crew NEW RB5 &  orion R8 speedo to the same family

AWSOME DAY!.........................except for my 2wd SC main

Racing was great!

Had a lot of fun, didnt break the b44.1 all day other then one center cvd pin, i was able to finish the qual in rwd though.

burnt down a viper 8.5 in the main came off the track around 215 ish! still finished 3rd.

Great race day. i ran a blitz ese in 2wd mod expert sc. and with super soft rebars front and super soft jc double dees rear the thing was HOOKED! never had traction issues all day .

That means soft panther switches would be money. Or an almost bald VTR Holeshot M2 or M3 would be good also.

We typically water every night after practice. By 4pm the next day the track is dry and hard packed. Grooves up throughout the evening. Today I had a nitro guy tell me the track was pretty good and he was running m2 calibers on his truggy.
