I know the E cars are a handful and not for everyone as they take some serious skill to navigate successfully. But you know what they say - If you can't stand the heat...

Track is fun and challenging in areas. There are soooo many right hand turns my left front tire keeps wearing out faster.

So whos in for e buggy on the nitro day. I know we have 3 Cary, Dave and myself. Anyone else wanna throw a quite break in the middle of the nitro scream.

Yeah a few of us were out there today to run nitro for the first time. Track is definately tight for truggy, better for buggy, but still fun. The big tripple was almost impossible to clear consistantly in trug, atleast for me. Hopefully Hopper, the ajustments you guys make will help out that section. As for tires I ran some small pin soft panthers in the morning (cant remember tread name) and then switched to Super soft HB (pinks) in the afternoon, and they were perfect. SS tires are the ticket for this dirt IMO, but that equals $h!!!T load of $ for tires. Lookin forward to rd 1 nitro

Thx Marcus I had a blast for sure. Glad you guys made it out to race. Yeah the big triple is a monster. We plan on making some adjustments to get it just right. Sure was fun watching mini clear it in the 2wd buggy main. He came all the way from the back to the front because he was going big!

Hopper it was a fun race day no matter what! Great layout (a few blind spots) but its just because our cars are so small 8th scale i dont think will have a problem!

the b44.1 i drove didnt like me. but i made it through the 2nd round and mains with out breaking it. and finished the main in 4th place, i made up a lot of time going for the big tripple when others were not.

130 entries. Programming late. Last main ended after 8. Next time we'll get out sooner due to having everyone in the computer etc. Thx to everyone who came out! Track is fun and challenging!

Super soft AKA impacts were the most consistently fast throughout the day on buggy, but a few people did good laptimes on pink BK's and blue Barcodes in the main.  In SC there was a good mix of tires, SS and Soft Rebars and Enduros were all good.

Big j, Early in the day the Panther Switch in a soft compound was the ticket. but if you drove aggressive. they were one runs! i ran them in the main and felt hooked up, but they were loose in spots. i didnt feel any slower at all to any other time i was on the track so i think im going to stick with those or maybe the rapters.

but i need new tires.

Thanks to Jason Smith for letting me borrow his or i would have been a sitting duck on the track with what i was running!

Anyone who has not reserved a table may want to consider reserving one or bringing their own table. If you are trying to get one out the remaining tables on Saturday morning, you should plan on being there a little before 7am. There is usually a nice line of cars by 7! Don't forget your extension cords as well.
