haha hole shots are kinda considered old school sense all we run on now are high bite tracks where we play the tire game and see how many tires we can go threw in one weekend lol

but no we are going to try and run wet track with hole shots and prob like scrubs something like that. we ran that last year and it was great. of course others ran other tires but something like that will always work

Last year it had a ton of grip after the nitro guys used to run. Maybe sticky castor oil instead of sugar. Tire wear was very very low as well!

Chris,

You're too funny.  Old School?  Ha ha ha.

M3/M4 Hole Shots with 4 rib fronts? or Hole shots all around?  I ask because it just so happens, that I happen to have a few sets of those that I have been keeping just in case you guys went back to a track that those would work on.  Hope you idea will work.

In all seriousness, you looking to get the track good for that setup for the Arena Cross race, the winter series, or both?  Trying to get down there again for a little racing this winter.

im really hoping to stay old school and run like m3 or m4 hole shots with just a wet track. you can never beat a wet track with hole shots.

i think the biggest question right now is ;  TIRES ! what tire will it be this year ? choices are getting rediculous..MC .X2 ..and now X3 ! for 78'deg. F and below . or maybe  JC gold? blue ? if they sugar it .. then orange ?

sooo many variables

It would be cool if you can put the straight in the back and more technical stuff up front. Like a whoop section in front of the driver's stand. And big jump in the middle like last year. I know Kraig likes to put the straight in front of the driver's stand for the nitro guys but I think it can be done with something more technical and still work. No big jumps though, the pit guys will have to wear helmets. Lol.

The older I get the faster I used to be.

this race is going to be a blast! this race will be a warm up for the delta rc winter series and i hope to start off the winter on a great note and maybe this will get some new racers to come back and join us for the winter series! me and ken have been brain storming ideas for the track lay out. we will be putting some curbs in to make sure the track is racey. and to top it off this track will be all brand new! i have been in contact with some companies getting some more sponsors to join this race. make sure you dont miss out!

I ran my old Rebars from the Kings race and they were fine. Many people were running balds with no issues.
