Sounds like I miss out on some fun, with no nitro I didn't have a car to run.
Still converting my CEFX from 17.5 to 13.5, Looking for some set up info, Gear ratio / roll out, shock oil, springs, tires, ect.
I got a new Trinity 13.5 1s short stack motor and a new Revtech battery, what else does a guy need?

Kevin or Matt are you out there??

well what a day of racing , great to see the big novice racers, 2 classes, on-road and oval. congrates to the winner, this was our warm up race the next on will be on March 29 th ,we moved this up because the following sunday will be Easter sunday, After the back streight finly dried up ( I take full responsiablity )the racing got better by 2 to 4 laps faster, The back stright was 55 degrees and the front stright was 68 degrees most of the day, lesson learned ,shaded back stright dose not need sauce unless the sun shines on it !!!!! other wise 61 sign ups not bad, I will not be at the next race so whos got the sprayers and  a cord less drill?

I just wanted to say thanks to Rob, Ray, and Frank who came out and started the gate. We got those posts set and they will soon be ready for a gate! You guys put in a tremendous effort.

I'll see you all tomorrow at the race!

Sherman, it's at Jakes.

The generators have been ordered.... all the quiet ones went to Ukiah in the last storm but they're trying to get them back. Don't know what you'll get. I assume Rob is picking them up? Also need someone to return them Monday.

No, I probably won't be racing this year.

The steering wheel foam is deteriorated.... I'll see if Jake has a new one.

Starting at 1000 (ish) works for me. If anyone wants to show up and start digging the holes early I'm comfortable starting as early as 0900. I'll be ready!

Are there still some volunteers to help with fabricating a fence  on Saturday so we can store the trailer at my place in Rohnert Park?

I propose that we only set the two main posts this Saturday (dig two holes and set the two posts in concrete) then hang the gates and remove my old fence the following weekend, The trailer can stay in my driveway for a week or so until the gates are finished.

Any volunteers to grab the materials? I'm thinking a couple pressure treated 4x6" posts and some concrete will support the large gates.

Anyone have post hole diggers?

That's right, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, racers of ages. The Ground Pounders warm-up race is this Sunday, March 1st, at Driven Raceway. It's time to dust off those cobwebs, charge up those batteries, sauce the tires, and fit that new painted body to the chassis and lay down some laps. Come on out and help setup the track, and sign ups begin at 9:00am, practice begin around the same time as sign ups and I will try to have a controlled practice so that everyone has a chance to practice.

Also, the club is allowing a maximum of four entries per driver. That means you can race in four on road classes or three on road and one oval class or two on road and two oval classes or four oval classes. If you are in back to back races you need to have someone to corner marshal for you.

We are also looking for some public speakers, those who can announce a race once or twice on race days. Please, give it a try so I can rest my voice and spare those of you having to hear me all day long. Hope to see you out there on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday March 1st at Driven Raceway.

Gordon.
