Wasn't VTA run with another class earlier this season as a feature class or was that the warm-up race?

Ray: Points are posted at the shop. Getting them on-line is not easy, sorry. Both of the October racers count towards the Series. It's the best 5 races for each racer that count.

Are we able to get the points posted on the Internet? And are the two races we have left points races or is it only the October 7 one?

Hey Sherman, the AMA is coming to Santa Rosa fairgrounds Sept. 23. The mile has moved north from San Jose. I might want to go and see how many old riders show up.

The Ground Pounder's VTA class runs 1450g, with the HPI classic 5 or 8 spoke wheels and the HPI vintage tread tire part number #4793 front and #4797 rear with stock inserts. Body must be a classic muscle car from the mid 60's early 70's Mustang, Barracuda, or Camaro and the paint schemes must be of the period and not flourescent types as that is frowned upon. The motor that the club runs is the Novak 25.5 VTA motor with any none ramping "blinky" type ESC. Final drive ratio must be between 3.5 to 3.7, not under 3.5 like 3.4639 and not over 3.7233. The battery that we are using is any 2 cell currently approved by ROAR. Hope that clears things up.

Gordon.

I have a Tamiya rally car, it would be perfect for this...  Maybe have some surface variations - part asphalt and part dirt?

OK, the VTA motor is fixed and I don't know if Jeff wants to run this weekend, but I'm ready for some 17.5 NR TC action and VTA or Mini racing, and some Stock Slash.

HEY, Gary I had an idea for a once a year race. The race would be like an American Le Mans series with a two driver team, two or four wheel drive TC's and the motors can be 27 turn brushed or 540 silver can or 25.5, 21.5, or 17.5 brushless with a run time of 20 or 30 minutes. The teams must us one radio and not two the same a driver must complete 50% of the race and pit stops are mandatory for changing drivers or batteries. The course will be on road with small jumps no higher than an inch and a half and a table top on the back straight. Any feed back?

Gordon.
