Come join the GP Club for their final race of 2012! It will be their annual Halloween "Spook-Out" Race, come dressed to impress in your favorite costume (optional). This will be a night race, held at the Water Agency parking lot off Airport Blvd. For the 2012 Club Series, many classes are yet to be decided. There will be some exciting racing, as many drivers try to gain valuable points to help their overall standings.

17.5NR Oval has Don Frederick only 3 points behind points leader David Frederick. Robert Wise is sitting comfortably in 3rd (or is he?) Johnny Mitchell holds forth, but wildcard Dan Hageman will enter the series if he races, and will shake up the standings!

13.5 Oval shows Greg Cassell out front right now and Don Frederick in 2nd. But ... Dan Hageman and David Frederick will enter the series if they race, this will surely change the standings in this class!

If there's a Nitro Oval Sedan race, then there's a Nitro Oval Sedan series! Rob Burns is currently leading, but Matt Senn wants it all. The battle is between these two ....

360 Wingless Sprintshows Matt Senn in the lead and it appears he's got it sown up. We'll have to wait and see what happens to 2nd, 3rd and 4th, Greg Cassell, Robert Wise and Blake Cannon, the final race will dictate the outcome.

17.5NR Sedan again has Matt Senn leading the way with an untouchable amount of points. Zac Wheatcroft holds down 2nd and Arthur Knight has 3rd. Not much will change in this class ...

Mini has Arthur Knight, Ron Perry and Michael Morris comfortably sitting in their positions ... Or are they? Looking at the points, if Blake Cannon races, he may shake up the standings all the way to the top!

Vintage Trans-Am has Ron Perry out in front, with Ray Fulmer only 3 points behind! Ryan Scherllerup hold down 3rd. But, Arthur Knight will enter the series if he races, and he's got a lot of points built up! This will be a main event to watch!

F1 Eric Wildt appears to have things in hand. Mike Bellomo holds down 2nd place and Dan Sciacca has 3rd.

Slash Bash is always exciting to watch, and the main event in this class will sort things out for 2012. Right now, Ray Fulmer hold the lead, but Ron Perry and Jake Rosen (tied for 2nd) are only 3 points out of 1st! Anything can and usually does happen with this class, so watch the main event and see it all unfoold before you very own eyes!

Spread the word about the race! This is always a fun one for the GP Club. Night racing is a treat, and this race is a Trick-or-Treat! Hope to see you there!

I AM STILL ALIVE !!! Unfortunately I used up all of my vacation due to my recent surgery so I can't come out to play for the Halloween race,I am still trying to get back to full strength while working.I will try to make it to the awards banquet though.Just letting you know that Monica and I will not be able to attend so if someone can bring a blower it would be appreciated.I want to thank all of the well wishers for their thoughts of getting well. My plans are to return next season and give it the old college try.See you all soon. Johnny

Wasn't VTA run with another class earlier this season as a feature class or was that the warm-up race?

Gordon.

Ray: Points are posted at the shop. Getting them on-line is not easy, sorry. Both of the October racers count towards the Series. It's the best 5 races for each racer that count.

Are we able to get the points posted on the Internet? And are the two races we have left points races or is it only the October 7 one?

Hey Sherman, the AMA is coming to Santa Rosa fairgrounds Sept. 23. The mile has moved north from San Jose. I might want to go and see how many old riders show up.
