Hi Art.
Due to the fires, the Driven Raceway parking lot has a number of trucks and motor homes in our space. The other side of the driveway has a large tent erected by an Insurance company for the inspection of cars damaged in the fire. The club has no idea of when this will end, so the members voted on moving the last race to Les Schwab in Windsor on the 29th of October which is a Sunday. This will be a day race instead of a night race, and the featured class will be the krazy couples figure eight race. I understand this may be an inconvenience to some of you but, I don't want to cancel the race because some drivers need the points to improve their position in the standings. I hope this is fine with the racers and that the season can finish on a high note and we can have some fun instead of worrying about fires.
If you have any questions, let me know.

Gordon.

It's coming, that's right, it is almost here. Tomorrow is the clubs meeting at the Mountain Mike's pizza polar in the commerce shopping center in Rohnert Park at 7:30 pm. We have a lot of issues to discuss, and there we be a raffle too. So I hope to see you tomorrow night.

Thanks Eric, it has been a crazy week. We got dis-placed Monday morning but were able to grab our travel trailer and ended up at the Dixon Fairgrounds and returned yesterday (Friday) .  We have a 12 day mini vacation to Oregon planned to start next Wednesday. Thanks again for the offer will check with you at a later date.

Steve, our meeting is this Tuesday and we will discuss weather or not to postpone the last race due to the smoke. The air is unhealthy in the north bay, so we will see what happens in the next few days. If we postpone this race it will be the first time we had to do to a fire.

Praying for everyone in Santa Rosa and near the fires.
Not sure how I can help, but if anyone needs to store anything at my house (I have lots of space in our garage), or even spend the night, etc... I am more than willing to help.
