Got the new wingless chassis mostly built, just need to get the shocks sorted and installed.

Was surprised to see that the batter mounts vertically! What madness is this!

Going to dust off my esc and other antiquated electronics next, still need ideas for the livery though.

Thinking of resurrecting my old oval green signature colors like this classic beauty here:

Gary, you are running the "silver can" along with David, and Dan right? I'll try to run the 25.5 motor. At this time tires will not arive until the second week in March, so I will try to run the mini spec tires. The tire is smaller in diameter and will effect the FDR, so I will try to ajust for the FDR.

Gordon.

Great meeting, lots of people attending. Bruce Haskell brought his new sprint car and he got an earful from Sherman and Dave. David Rae brought his new VTA Camaro...beautiful car! Down to business.....VTA will run 25.5 brushless with a fixed endbell (no timing adjustment), non ramping, no mAh battery limit and a 1550 grm minimum weight.

As a reminder....go karts feb 28th, Driven Raceway, 6:30, last chance to tag along on ESCA's great price.

I'm copying Smokey Yunick's 68 (?) Camaro.... he towed out to the Riverside Trans Am race, put Art Pollard in the driver seat and promptly blew the track record away. Then he loaded the car up and headed back to Florida without turning a lap in the race.

When Vic Edelbrock had the car restored he found that the body had been acid dipped, suspension shafts had been drilled out, aluminum pieces that looked like steel.....

I'm starting my car at zero as far as toe goes in the rear and I'm probably going to baseline with 9LB springs across the back, in the front I haven't decided if I'm going to start with a laydown or stand up tower, so that will dictate spring choice on the front and possibly change the LR. I'd say the 40/50 on oil is going to be pretty close, maybe a little more if you play with a front swaybar.

Personally I don't like to use toe to tighten the back on the car Like Randy does, I'll go the opposite way sometimes to free it up and run negative toe on the RR to help the car rotate on entry, and use a little more cross to get it off the corner, but I still try to baseline at zero as it keeps the car rolling as cleanly as possible.
