Ifmar style qualifying does clean up some of the racing but for the most part we don't have enough people to worry about getting into the "A", pretty much everyone makes the show. It's great for bigger races where a few hundrents can make the difference if making the show or ending up way down in a lower main, we just don't have that kind of talent for a local club race...
Drop the novice races to 3 minutes.
Stock oval class lose the rear wing and go to spec Protoform tcc2 oval body and just spoiler only, this would tighten up the class and make the racing a little racier , body's are only 2o bucks and change.
Lower entry fee's.= 15 per class, 3rd one five bucks, novice 5 bucks
I'm sure more who read these local threads can add some positive idea's

Once again I like these starts but when you really step back and look at it for our club and all the classes we offer, the people we have and the time we have to do it all in, just doesn't really work.

Maybe for next year, and this is just an thought, maybe try IFMAR type of qualifing heats (LOL). Instead of bashing one an other we'd race the clock for our best time.
All of the classes were great, we will have to see what is popular as the season goes on if we want to make changes.
