AS YOU MIGHT KNOW I DO NOT RACE ELECTRICS.WHY BECAUSE BATTERIES ARE FOR FLASH LIGHTS AND POWER TOOLS. JUST KIDDING.....SO IT SEEMS THAT THERE IS INTREST IN A MOTOR CHANGE IN THE TRUCKS FROM 17.5 TO 21.5.  QUESTION -IS THERE ENOUGH RACERS TO HAVE 2 CLASSES OF TRUCKS? 17.5 AND 21.5 ..IS IT BETTER FOR THE RACERS? KEEP 17.5 FOR CARS ?, JUST IDEAS FOR OUR CLUB MEETING....HAPPY NEW YEARS

So p1 and delta rc both had there test runs with the two class changes over the weekend. P1 had more 21.5 truck turnout and delta rc had more 17.5 car turn out and both were very positive on how cars raced. I’ve talk to Blake after there Saturday race and he was excitied about how good the racing was, with 21.5 truck, Perfect, the racing with 17.5 car was just as good and exciting. At the end of the day the two clubs are trying to work together and keep pan car racing fun, easy to get into and affordable. With that said heard may try bring backing back vta I’m down for that,

Not sure if i'll make it this Tue either, -wife works night shift, ...i'll be coming home from SF and need to pick kids up from sports and have some parent camping trip thing to discuss w/ my son's school.  Juggling way too many things!

But, my youngest son will be joining us this season ...just got his ROAR card in the mail Friday. So now both my sons will be racing (and i'll probably be doing less racing and more helping).

I have this feeling that I have to explain some things with this 21.5 sportsman truck class, if you leave it open then it’s going to be a who can build the most horse power kinda thing. When it should be about learning how to drive clean and tuning the chassis and just have fun racing. There’s not going to be anyone in this group buying hella motors to fine witch one as the lower ir, or some kinda of sponsorship bs not going to happen. Just have fun racing with your buddy’s. Since a lot of us have work to deal with and can’t make it to meeting I just wanted to post up my thoughts.
                                                     Thanxs Cory

Happy new year to all. Next Tuesday the 16th is the ground pounders first meeting this season. We have elections for president,  vice president, recording secretary, at large position, and treasurer. Also, classes will be up for a vote, keep them the way they are or change them. There will be a class dropped for sure, that class will be Spec Rally and maybe Winged Sprints. So, bring your proposal or idea for a class, and the club will vote on it. The meeting will be at the Mountain Mike's pizza parlor located in the Commerce shopping center at 7:30 pm. So spread the word, next Tuesday is the meeting, see you then.

Wuz up gp racers, so I was looking to find out if there is any interest in WGT-R/T? I know there is a couple of us that would put cars together if there is a place to race. Nice thing is I know tires would last a season or two. Or for those nascar fans I think we could put nascar bodies on them and call it nascar road course. Just curious on what racers think of WGT-R/T. I’ll be talkn with the delta guys this weekend as well.

I’m gona try to get out there for the banquet, all of us guys at delta have good ideas on trying to get new people involved into oval pan car racing, we’re all about getting new faces to race with and have as much fun as we do. some small changes makes for big things and lots of fun. I’ll know by Saturday if I’m going to be able to make it.
