13.5 open is the expert class- simple pretty much the standard.

13.5 spec call it Xfinity13.5 or just spec 13.5? since no issue with Nascar- and yes it's real they make you stop. Just please do not mention rubber tire in the name.13.5 Spec. is simple.

17.5 Truck is just that  perfect-- Please change computer to 4 mins for the truck class

all oval classes are 4 min qualifier's and main's.

think we would have to call it nationwide 13.5 and sprintcup 13.5 due to infringement issues

13.5 spec rubber is a test year for this class..
FYI- A majority of the  racers that have been supporting this class last year and over winter all have agreed after talking with Gordon this GP season we are going to see and deal with this class way earlier than what had happened this year about what direction for next year. But this 2017 13.5 spec class is a rubber class, all rules apply as run all around the country except for spec CRC pre built rubber tires only! all 13.5 Roar legal motor rules,4.22 max voltage rule,36oz, no timing esc's, or an esc that can be locked into a zero timing mode to tech visually, most blink one color or number of dots to quickly check for legal no boost/ramping. since the 2 Spec bodies 1237-25,1233-25 protoform is meant as a foam tire body trim line is normal tech line ,but it is needed to be cut below to clear the monster tires. Spoiler that comes with body must be used and can not be cut above trim line, must be cut on trim line or below.
3 numbers, sponsor either rc or real optional.
This is a fast advanced class. Pretty much all of us know each other that support this class,we try and race clean with respect, talk nicely and we usually say thanks for letting another racer go if he is faster that run, sorry works well also if needed.
Car counts right now for this class look to have split qualifier's which is good, we need to have 4-5 car qualifiers and top 6 race in main. Keeps it clean and same for everyone

We have been calling this class the XFinity 13.5 class at delta, since it is not a conflict with Nascar. Please name it something cool not rubber tire spec. yuk.
Lastly - Truck class needs to go to 4 minutes if it hasn't been changed allready.
13.5 open - we all know who we are ,we all know the rules- fyi- there is no secret set-up,esc,settings,nothing special- my mamba is going back in,it hasnt seen a computer in almost 4-5 years now,set-it forget it. simple, i'll show or tell anyone with any esc where to set motors and esc,and starting rollout .. Work on set-up!!! stay on top of tires!
You guy's have my text, email,# lmk if any concerns.
Kevin 18th GP year- that's in a row.. cya guy's april @ windsor

Sherman, you are right. After looking over the notes of the meeting, the members did vote for rubber tire for the 13.5 spec class. So, to all the oval drivers, 13.5 nationwide spec will run on rubber tire.

To the board members, this Thursday the 9th, there is a board meeting at the Round table in the Raley's shopping center at 7 pm. I tried to find a different location but, it fell through.

See you at the meeting and at the warm up race.

I am new to oval racing. Last year I ran the 17.5 truck and tried the 13.5 car on foam tires.  I had a great time with the truck and struggled with the 13.5.  I ran the car on foam tires 3 or 4 times and had to buy 3 sets of tires because I chunked them.  This winter I ran the car on rubber tires at P1  a couple of times and had a blast.  In my opinion the races were cleaner and more fun.  I am in favor of rubber tires.

I built my 13.5 car specifically for rubber tire... so if g.p. runs foam i will not be running my 13.5 car.

GORDON, I TALKED TO ROB AND DAVE THIS MORNING AND THEY METIONED THAT AT OUR LAST MEETING WE VOTED ON 13.5 RUBBER NATIONWIDE NACAR WITH SMALL SPOILER, AND 13.5 SPRINT CUP NASCAR WITH FOAM AND REAR WING? THE SPRINT CUP CAR WILL STAY THE SAME,THE CONCERN WAS IF THE RACERS JUST TESTED WITH RUBBER TIRE IT WOULD BE TO TROUBLESOME TO CHANGE OVER. MONEY SPENT ON TIRES SPACERS AND DIFFRENT SET UP. DID`NT WE VOTE RUBBER? I REALLY DID NOT PAY TO MUCH ATTENTION BUT TALKING TO THEM IT MADE SENCE TO GO RUBBER WHAT DO OU AND ANY OTHERS SAY??????

Bryce, yes you can. The battery that I have has a dean's connecter. I think both Peak and Reedy have different connecters.

Gordon,

I'll be there, just say when and where.

Question on the semi truck class, is it safe to assume that we can change out the battery connector? Nobody uses Molex (Tamiya) connectors and we allow this change in all of our other spec classes like 55 Bomber, Slash, and Rally.

Sherman, I don't know. I think Amy wrote down the information and was going to change the schedule on the Web site.

I am calling for a board meeting next Thursday. That's Amy, Bryce, Sherman, and is it Steve Martin Sr. that's the at large rep, and my self. Did I miss anyone? I will try and find a place to hold our meeting at since Round table only reserves the room for twenty or more. I will see what I can find.

Sorry racers I have no choice but to call this a rain out race and schedule the warm up race to happen on March 19th at Driven raceway.

About the Tamiya euro truck class, the class is box stock except I am allowing the bearing up grade. No changing the motor, or speed control you must run it as it comes out of the box.
