VTA would be awesome,
I have one for Dylan and I,  but can easily convert a car that is not being used to VTA which would be perfect for Luke. He is a little wild and beat up my Mini pretty badly in the last race. I am thinking his novice on-road would be perfect for VTA as it would be a bit stronger and easier to control.

I'll get him setup then the Falk's will have 3 chances of whooping you Gordon!

Sherman,  I hope to be there for the 125 lap race. I'm healing as slow as a slug moves. Are we still a loud to enter three classes, that right? Oh. I will need to purchase a new Slash motor before August's race, I don't think I have a spare. I think I'll run Bomber, VTA, and maybe Mini. Anyway, I will try to heal up as fast as I can.
Talk to you later.

Gordon.

I’m going to run a TC4 I have. I can get it on the track for the cost of electronics and tires. So why not? I think I am looking at something between 6.0 and 7.0. Probably closer to 6.0.

For USGT it depends on the chassis you are running. Associated, Hot Bodies, XRay, and a few others run different final drive ratios. I ran the Xray with it's final drive at 1.9, and a gear ratio of 92, 48. So check with Matt Senn or Art Knight and see what they are running. Good luck.

Fun day racing, -thank you Sherman for your continued efforts as interim president.

Nice to see a few new drivers as well. Can anyone help Andy w gearing for his USGT? (I dont race that class).

Also nice to see Brian Jones starting to be a contender in 17.5!

Sherman left out the fact that he won the Bomber 125!!! Steve Martin took second and I managed to salvage a third from too many 'ooopsies'. That was my first 125 and figured it was better to finish than be fast and not have enough to make it to the end. I was too conservative on my set up and had plenty of battery left at the end so I know what changes to make next time. Tire wear was amazingly light for a race that long.
Congrats on a great race Sherman! He managed to announce much of the day and was still  ready to race.
My schedule says the next 125 is in August.... is that correct?

Had fun getting out there with my Euro truck last week. I'm looking to add a USGT car to my next race day. What gear ratio are folks running in that class? Thanks in advance for any info.

..actually I may have a 17.5 reedy motor, it's a great motor. It's in our extra onroad  novice car which I've been using as a spare.
I'll bring it too. (My older son was using the car but switched to euro and vta) so it's not being used.

Hey Brian,
I don't have a 17.5 spare at the moment,
But I do have a spare motor that I haven't used in years, its a 13.5 it wouldn't be legal, but if everyone is alright w/ it you could use it, maybe just turn the timing down??

I'll bring it in case no one else has a 17.5,
definitely come out tomorrow,

Any one else got a 17.5 they would part with?  Doesn't have to be competitive, just want to race in class.
