Actually Baldies are working great at Norcal 8th scale track..

Mr. Mule if I had my own track.. all racers could run there for free... the only rule would be  you are not allowed.

Off-road on foams is actually pretty cool. I've been thinking about picking up some tires to do it with my buggy simply to force me to learn finer throttle/brake control than I have been used to on dirt. I've been getting pretty reasonable with the throttle, but most of my braking is still very pre-planned and/or full brake or no brake. I think doing the foams (or rubber) on-road thing would help with this, and make it much faster of a learning curve for me to be able to "check up" on somebody in dirt racing, instead of either hitting them or driving the people behind me nuts when I slide.

Of course, seeing a TC or F1 monster truck would be rather hilarious too, so who knows. O:-)

I think bad boy should start his own track and make his own classes . Maybe two you could run all off road cars on foams and all onroad classes with treaded tires only no slicks allowed .

Steve you dont have to make both. Just thought I would let you know of another race and track! The track is a outdoor 1/8th offroad.

We run 1/8th Sportsman Buggy/Truggy 1/8th Pro Buggy/Truggy Novice which is an open to run what you brung 1/8th E-Buggy Open Short Course. 2wd and 4wd can run most everyone runs 4wd

Thanks Sac Raceway.. how do you suppose I am to get to Sacramento when we are racing Saturday all day at Norcal Hobbies finishing around 6 or so.

Its two 1/2 hours to Sac!  your race starts at 5:30...  I never been on the track do you have practice Friday?

 What classes are run and scales?   8th  10th?  plus there's any practice? before race day?  what tires work?
