For anyone who dosen't know of these legend cars, there rj speed legends the kit cost 90 dollars comes with body and foam bsr yellow strip tires and no electronics. There's a chassis kit for 60 dollars no tires or body. To me that's a better deal. There is eight different body's to choose from. When building read the hint page first helps for smooth build, one chassis spacer needs to move forward to different hole for added room for battery. Keeping it simple makes great racing.

Sweet we planned on bringing ours up to your track to see how the gearing works out on the bigger track. The gear rule is base on track to track. The rubber tire is badass on these cars too.

So chuck and I tested out the legend car, they were a lot of fun perfect speed for the new guy wanting to get into asphalt oval racing and those of us who like to have fun with out spending a bunch of money on another car. About a second off the 17.5 trucks with out of box setup on rubber tires. If your interested in building one, we're staying with legends rules on chassis. The only changes are running hobby wing 3650 25.5 motor, 5000 mah. 30c battery with dean, Tamiya or traaxis plugs. Tcs or crc rubber tires. The tires are a little extra cost but will pay for itself in the long run. Gearing is the same as legend rules 20 or 22 pinion 81 spur. Will have them out for this Sunday's race. Lots of fun and look cool too.

Sup guys, asphalt racing for September is the 10th and the 24th. There will be open practice this Sunday the 3rd. My self and a few others will be out there. If you have a legends car bring it out, doesn't matter what your running in it. Chuck and I are working on a entry level class that dosen't cost much and can be fun to run for anyone. Need to keep it simple and cheap. So we're trying out different motors and battery combos, and possibly try out those rubber tires.

SUMMER DIRT OVAL The first series race was a no go. Chuck, Cory and myself were the only ones with cars there. This last Sat. no one. There for I am canceling the series. We can still try to have club races on those dates. I know there were people that wanted to come out but had previous plans and other things came up. I am not sure what to do. So I am thinking of trying to get some kind of roll call for the dates that remain. Maybe racers can post up and plan to commit to certain dates that are on the schedule. Maybe we can get a race in. Joe

The Dirt Oval track is holding together great so the track will be open for practice on shop hours. If you plan on practicing go to the shop and pay $10 for practice. Also if you let me (Joe) or Kraig know in advance ill make sure the track is blown off.
