17.5 sprint has a spec foam. All other sprint classes will use Foam or Rubber Street Treaded tires such as custom works street tracs. I ran my 360 sprint with gold rc4less foams last night and it was dialed. The 360 class is 13.5 "blinky". 410 is open motor and esc. I think that foams will be faster than rubber tires. Check out our rulebook to answer pretty much all questions. Lmk I'f you have any more!

I see there is a Spec tire for sprints, Anyway, my questions are. 1) 17.5 Sprint is the 360 class, right? 2) Is there a Rules page or site somewhere we can go by(with street stock too)? 3) My old Elec Sprint has RC10 1/4"(Gold Chassis Style) Axles, can I use my own Foams? 4) More about Rules, are there rules for SC10? 5) Does 410 Sprint have any rules, are Rubber tires allowed on either sprint class?, and do they work? I'm going to read back a ways, but navigating this forum seems more Difficult than any I've been on, could find all my answers if there were more separate posts. Are there?

I do not think it is a dumb question, I was always told the question that was not asked is the dumb one.

Any way I am curious too!

Lol nope sorry Steve. You'll most likely want to be on silver or gold foams. We had 10 sets of each come in last Friday. I think all we have now are fronts.

Hopper I have a Custom works direct drive Sprint car I was trying to set it up but the pinion is hard to do for me. I had surgery and 1/2 of my hand is num and cramps eazy. I need to find the correct gearing. I looked at the 2WD full body and I can do it my self with nothing in the way and I could end up running a EDM with it in the end. All I have to do is get the body if there is a electric EDM class? If not then when I get the 2WD full body dialed in I can switch the set up to my Sprint car. My 2WD full body car is a custom works direct drive car too. they both are all most the same less the body and wings for the basic chassis, shocks and tranny.

Also I want to be in a class that newbies do not run in to me. I can not afford the brakage and do not want to be in the way of the fast guys.

Steve unless it rains the 1/10 offroad track will be open. The oval is dry but not prepped so its closed until friday. We need to wet pack it in order to be able to drive a car on it. We WILL be racing on it on Friday night!!!!

Gold cup results are up! Please remember that these results do not reflect the overall winners since there was a points system in place. I will post the top 3 in each class asap.

Hey Randy!

Car looks good but there is no class for that type of car anymore. We run 17.5 sprints as a sportsman/beginner class. You can probably throw it in with them for this Friday if you want but not every week. The 17.5 sprint class runs a spec foam tire and spec gearing with zero motor and esc timing. You want a 4.06 fdr to be close to the spec gearing.

The Gold Cup was OFF THE HOOK! Most fun rc racing I have had. Big thanks to Matt Murphy for bringing this race to Delta. Big thanks to everyone who made it out! Huge thanks to Joe Reyes and Kraig for all the help getting the track ready and to Kristen for holding down the shop for us. Wingless was off the hook on Saturday night. I have never seen so much traction. I could hold my 360 pinned in the main and it was on rails. I ran the same set of rc4less golds all weekend. This was the 3rd week in a row I have used the same set of tires.

Highlight of the weekend might have been watching Kraig win the wingless 410 main on Saturday night barely holding off Allan Webster! Or maybe cheering for Steve Noack when he turned the 3.9 sec lap of Sunday afternoon! Watching my younger brother RickDawg win the 360 C and lead the 360B was an awesome moment for me as well. Wait don't forget about the EPIC 100 lap mains we ran on both days for street stock. Single car qualifying was VERY cool to see and be a part of. Really fun to show everyone what you've got with all eyes on you!

We just made it with the weather as well since it rained last night and early this morning. Plan as of now is to try and run the track unsealed and wet this Friday night weather permitting! Gonna be awesome!!!!
