Any sprint car class running on asphalt will run wingless.

In all pancar classes the 1-cell LiPo main battery is the only power source permitted
for any electronics in the car (i.e. receiver packs are no longer permitted). You may use an external booster such as the novak or hobbywing in place of a receiver pack.

SK- This class uses ROAR approved 17.5 motors (D3.5 ALLOWED 15/16 SEASON). Electronic Speed Controls used in the class must be ROAR approved under the “ROAR Sportsman Class ESC rule” and must be set to the Sportsman profile at all times (i.e. no timing boost, cheat modes, etc). Roar approved 1s lipos. Racers may use any foam tires intended for use on 1/10th scale pan cars. The chassis are specially designed for this class. Min weight 33oz. We will follow the National Sk rules available here. 2015/2016 SK Rules

17.5 Nationwide- This pancar class uses ROAR approved 17.5 motors, Roar blinky esc. Spec bodies will be Protoform 1233-25 or 1237-25. Bodies, front fenders, and rear spoilers must be cut on molded cut line and rear bumpers must remain in place. No "Wings" allowed (only spoilers). Any roar legal 3.7v 1s Lipo battery. Must use World GT Spec Tires with the Purple ring. Min Weight 36oz.

21.5 sportsman Truck- This class is intended for sportsman level competition. This class uses ROAR approved 21.5 motors, Roar Blinky esc. Must run spec Nas-Truck style truck body Protoform 1227-21. Bodies and rear spoilers must be cut on molded cut line and rear of truck may not be cut out. Max spoiler height 2" Any roar legal 3.7v 1s Lipo battery. Must use crc gtr wheels with Crc gtr or Tamiya Tcs rubber tires (tam1031,tam1032). Min Weight 36oz.

Hopper,

Can you e-mail me your oval rules you are using? I'm having a hard time finding them and would like to talk to you outside of a forum. Thanks.

Please remember that lipo sacks/bags are required to be used 100 percent of the time. If you are charging/discharging/balancing/storing a lipo it needs to be in a lipo sack. No exceptions. You will not be allowed to use the facility if you can not follow this very simple safety rule. Thanks and see you all on Sunday.

Racing asphalt oval this saturday the 13th. Should have 5 or 6 sportsman 21.5R trucks running by my count. Shark, Mudfish, Looney, Brekle, and a suprise driver in a rent a ride. That's 5 right there. This class is a perfect speed to be able to race and not tear up cars. Tires should last forever and they have plenty of traction. No need for the latest and greatest chassis either. Perfect place for racers to hone their driving, racing, and tuning skills before moving up to our 17.5 nationwide class. See you all this Saturday!

Sounds good! Our current classes are a bit different from what you guys run up there so be sure to look into that. We run 17 5 nationwide, 17.5 sk, 17.5 wingless sprint, and 21.5 sportsman truck with rubber tires.
