No. It sounds like you have the custom works street tracs. We are now using the Duratrax Bandito because they last way longer on our outdoor track surface.

Are these tires the same ones that were spec for the class last year? I had set up a car but only ran it once or twice, the tires don't have any markings and I can't remember what they actually are.

We are planning to run at the shops indoor asphalt Oval on Friday nights. The current plan is to race indoor asphalt on the weekends we are not racing outdoors. Basically alternating indoor and outdoor every week. Some guys can't make it on Sundays and vice versa. This way there shouldn't be any conflict with our current summer schedule. We still are racing on the outdoor DIRT. This is in addition to everything you are all used to.

The first Friday night indoor asphalt race is scheduled for Friday July 24th. The outdoor race previously schedule for July 26th has been cancelled since that would have us racing outdoors 3 weekends in a row. The indoor pit area is air conditioned, has plenty of electrical outlets, and 2 flat screen tv's. As of right now you will need to bring tables and chairs. We are looking into building pit tables soon.

We are currently planning on racing onroad ever other Thursday and Oval every other Friday (alternating weeks.) The track is currently setup as a road course. We will have days designated as oval practice days where we will have the oval setup to run on. Those days are TBA.

The indoor track size is almost an exact copy (maybe a few feet longer on the straights) of our indoor clay track. It should be about a 100ft run line. The surface is perfectly smooth and the asphalt is very fine making for nice traction and low abrasiveness. Tire wear should not be bad. The track is sprayed with wd40 or similar to keep the natural oil in the asphalt. I have raced 1/12 pancar on this surface and they are extremely hooked up.

We would like to have people run trinity red dot if you want to use sauce. It has little to no smell and works awesome on the pancars. Products with wintergreen and other strong smell can quickly overpower the indoor pit area. If everyone is running tha same sauce it also helps keep the track consistent.

There is indoor pit space for approx 20-25 racers. Nitro cars will not be allowed to run in the pit area. A table will be setup outside for warm up/tuning etc. The track has floor to ceiling roll up doors down both sides. We anticipate with these doors opened up the nitro fumes will clear out fine.

We also will have the option to pit outside the building on the east side right behind the drivers stand. This area is fully shaded by the building after about 4pm or so.

If there is any interest in running oval pan cars we of course would love to see them as well.

Here are a few videos of the track taken Monday. This is Joe Reyes driving a 360 sprint with the wing removed. No changes were made to the setup other than removal of the main wing. I would like to see all sprint classes run wingless. We can test the Nitro sprints to see if that will work or not.

The back straight is 18ft wide btw.
