Yes it was fun and little challenging at the begaining because I cleaned the track the day before. I'd like to than Austin and Dylan for coming out race the fist legends race congrats to Dylan for winning main. Thanks to chuck for letting them drive his cars, they should have there own by next race we may have a good turn out next race. So we tryed out these 13 dollar 1800 battery's, I though they were going to be paper weights at the end of the day. It's a perfect battery worked really good for a 4 min run, no drop off and still had voltage left. Very lite at 4 oz so we set weight at 35oz. Lots of fun we're going to alternate oval and onroad week to week. Next race onroad. Sunday the 8th of October.

Oh yea lowering theses cars is a good idea with a lot of grip traction roll kinda wild 4 out of 5 times lands on wheels keep driving hella fun lol. Optional three peice frontend will make lowering easy.

So I'll try to keep it short. First Blake what you guys are trying to do with the legends just adding another fun class to race, with bearings is perfect with motor and battery rule. Chuck and I with the out of the box setup no funny buissness with bushings got theses cars going 4.5/4.4 with little setting up can easily get them to go 4.0. Fast super truck lap is 3.6 here. So we're doing something alittle different at delta, we're going to slow them down for the newbie racer and get the cost down even more by specing the same lipo battery they use back east. Dinamite reaction 20c 1800 pack runs from 10-12 dollars. Trying to keep the cars at 4.8-5.0 pace. I'm just putting it out there but if we get nothing but racers wanting to have fun then will go with same battery and bearing rule and do 4.0 all day. Now after talkn with old school legend racers and there talkn about how they used to boil bushings in oil and polishing doing all this crap shoot save time put bearings in it. I know it's a cost thing what 10 extra dollars gets you bearings, that oil cost like 15. Keeping it simple is what it's all about.

Another fun day at delta asphalt track. Jhonny those cosco dogs were off the hook thank you. Seems to be the thing to do now, eat good food while racing. Sad day for tom with some sort of malfunction and supper truck gose full speed into fence and was completely distoryed. And the legend cars are pretty fast for a cheesy toy, maybe alittle too fast for the newbie racer. I,ll do another post on that later today.

Yea that's the piont and I'm not a fan of specing just one battery brand it's not fair for shops that don't carry it and they could get rid of ones that are sitting nobody buying. Trying to keep it simple and fair.

Ok so for the legend cars we're going to spec any 3300 to 4200 mah 35c hardcase 2s lipo batttery. 38 oz weight any weight added must be on battery side left. That means any where on side plates within the length of the battery. We'll see how this works and adjust if nesassary.

For anyone who dosen't know of these legend cars, there rj speed legends the kit cost 90 dollars comes with body and foam bsr yellow strip tires and no electronics. There's a chassis kit for 60 dollars no tires or body. To me that's a better deal. There is eight different body's to choose from. When building read the hint page first helps for smooth build, one chassis spacer needs to move forward to different hole for added room for battery. Keeping it simple makes great racing.

Sweet we planned on bringing ours up to your track to see how the gearing works out on the bigger track. The gear rule is base on track to track. The rubber tire is badass on these cars too.
