Raced there Saturday and Sunday, surface is AWESOME! The 36J's were perfect! Randy Caster and Ryan Cavalieri were there getting ready for Ft Meyers. They looked good and FAST on the new surface. I think all will be pleased.

Word on the street says the asphalt is hooked up at Roadrunners RC Club. Get your sign ups in early Round 4 coming up quick.

An important topic has been brought up regarding tires for TC and to keep things friendly, there will be a small change to improve the game.   

 

Format will be the same however there will be a 2 set of tires limit from Q1-Q3.  If you make the A-Main you have the option to purchase an extra set otherwise you can re-run your best set of tires.  

 

This will create tire strategy for those who want to compete and cut costs while having fun.  

 

Tires will be sold on Race Day through EJ Evans and must be marked for tech.

To all fellow rc racers who planning on attending the Ripon CTS race. I'm having a BBQ at my house Saturday evening. I live 15-20 minutes from the track. 21 confirmed so far. We did this last year during 209's two day race. I think everyone loved it. So come eat, drink and hang out. I'll have an air conditioned pit area set up if any of you need to wrench. 

I think there's a UFC fight. I'll order it if there is one. If you want to swim after a hot day. The pool is ready for ya. And the spa will be heated. I spent a small fortune last year. Any donations would be appreciated. It cost a small fortune to feed 20-30 people.

Ripon RC Speedway has power and limited table availability. Please bring your own Canopy, table, chairs and extension cord. Parking will be limited as well so if you arrive late, you must park around the perimieters of the facility. Dan's Autobdy will have a full service bathroom.

Classes and entry fees are on flier.
