1) Switch over to Mylaps/AMD timing system. Almost no one will show up from outside of Fresno with transponders compatible with your current system. I did not have enough time when I was there to swap my loaner transponder into a different car. I think I had 30 seconds of warmup for the nitro main event.
2) Consider raising the level of grip to a new level with VHT.
3) There are racers that are not familiar with Tamiya racing classes. Lets call the Modified class "Mod", the 17.5 class "17.5" and the 21.5 class "USGT or VTA". I struggled with that all day when I was there.
Please don't take my suggestions as overly critical. I had a fun day of racing in Fresno and I enjoyed meeting fellow rc racers and hanging out with Carlos. If you want to attract racers from outside of Fresno this is what I would do.
