Also, I have used deans since I was like 10, how are they garbage? They solder easy they are a solid connector, and both of the legal batteries come with them installed already.

The tamiya rules specify deans. As far as parts, if you break something you are doing it wrong! haha. The only thing you might want is an extra pinion.

Also can I use EC3 instead of Deans?  Deans are garbage.  EC3 has no performance advantage but is safer, more durable, more reliable, and much easier to build.
