It was because the forum was getting spammer attacks and this was a temp fix until a better solution could be applied.

Modesto RC Raceway is going to be holding a series race come this August called Hot August RC Nights. It will be every Saturday NIGHT during the month of August. It will be a points based series. The better you place the more points you will get for that day. If you miss a race you get zero points and I don't think they plan on having any throw out races. So you really have to be in it to win it.
